Artist's Comments

Not a very artistic shot... There were so many trees and houses blocking the sky... I couldn't seem to get a good angle, so this one isn't framed very well, plus the street light is distracting ^^; But the lightning lit up the clouds nicely, the tree branches have nice silhouettes, and the colors are vibrant... so I like it :)

Please tell me what you think!

Rembrandt painted 300 paintings. Of these, 1000 are still in existence.

"Bob?" asked Steve, "Jim", Frank replied.

Shameless self advertisement! ~~~~> ~Off-The-WallxCrazy my writing account :D
:wow:  this great. dont worry about the background noise, the colour vibrance and capture of the lightning is whats focused on!

Great shot, love the bolts and the colour. A little bit of noise (digital grain that is) but now I'm getting technical :D The shot is great. :boogie:

I think the trees add interest.
And the light catches my eye as well,
Adding a color variation to the dark, rich purples.

Very nice! It must have been difficult to catch that moment, with the lightning flashing and all.

the Stars... the Stars are crying, my love,
for the Moon has died, vanquished
by the everlasting arrows
from the Sun.
I think the light is both interesting and distracting. The lightning flashes do point towards the streetlamp so I guess it "lures" your eyes to it. xD But then I just stop looking there LOL

Her first time on the edge
The scars will stay forever
Side to side with death
A moment that feels better
Darkness and light are blinding her sight
She's not coming back

don't see the houses, and the street light almost looks like part of the lightening. Only thing i noticed was a power ine in the background... But truly an awesome catch of lightening... that's a pretty darned hard thing to do. Good job!
