Season's First Flake

Learned how to get the maximum zoom using the reverse macro technique (use your minimum focal length) just in time for our first snowfall. First, I cleared the snow off of one of the car's mirrors. Then, I brushed some snow from the car's roof onto the top of the mirror. By doing so, I loosened the flakes from each other, making it easier to single one out and shoot it. From there on out it was just setting the camera to burst mode and finding a shot in which the flake was within the narrow depth of field. Very proud of this one, I can't wait to shoot more!
