Unlike snowflakes, which generally adhere to the consistent hexagonal form, frost can come in all shapes and sizes. Found these frost "trees" on our window last January during a stretch of cold temps. I thought the two on the right looked like big pines and the one on the left some sort of deciduous tree (maybe a maple)
